Wood & Metal Painting

Wood and metal paints are specialized coatings designed to protect and enhance the appearance of wooden and metal surfaces.

1. Wood Paint:
Purpose: Provides protection against moisture, insects, and UV damage while improving the aesthetic appeal. Types: Includes oil-based paints, latex paints, and acrylic paints. Some are formulated with additional ingredients like primer to ensure better adhesion and durability.

Application: Typically involves sanding the wood surface, applying a primer if needed, and then painting with the chosen wood paint. Finishes can range from matte to glossy.

2. Metal Paint:
Purpose: Protects metal surfaces from rust, corrosion, and wear, and can also provide a decorative finish. Types: Includes oil-based paints, acrylic paints, and specialized metal paints such as epoxy and enamel. Some formulations include rust- inhibiting properties.
Application: Often involves cleaning and priming the metal surface to ensure good adhesion of the paint. Applying the paint usually requires a primer specifically designed for metal, followed by one or more coats of metal paint.
